I am a Physics teacher at the high school level in Denmark. I have worked with computers since the beginning of 1980. At that time I bought my Commodore 64. I took my first steps in to the computer world using the C64 with COMAL. Later on I got the C128 and continued using the new COMAL designed for that machine. Finally I got my first PC - a 80386 - where I started using UniComal 2.20 for the IBM PC.

Then came Windows 3.1 and 3.11 followed soon. I began to use Borland Pascal 7 for programming Windows applications. UniComal was not used any longer. Finally Delphi arrived and I have used it ever since. I use Delphi 1 and Delphi 5 Professional right now.

Then I got the job to maintain the computerpark at my school just as Windows 95 arrived. I quickly learned that this operating system needed special installation - I could not just copy as I used to do with Windows 3.x. I had 34 PC’s with erased hard drives and I had to install Windows 95 on all of these drives. At first I did not know what to do. Then I realised that most of the installation had to be done under DOS. Then I jumped back to UniComal and designed my BOOTMENU.

[Mr Storr-Hansen has uploaded a collection of programs which will appear on the downloads page in the next few weeks. We are very pleased to have Mr. Hansen's contribution, which is our first from Denmark, the home of UniCOMAL.]
