Antony is a Scot of Tuscan lineage. He was born in Ayr in the West of Scotland and lived with his family in Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway, where his father still resides. He is shown here at home in Newton Stewart while fitting out the van which is going to carry him around Europe.
His passion is the environment and its good husbandry - he describes himself as a "Social Entrepreneur" which rather precludes fame and fortune, alas! He has maintained his family's links with Tuscany and regularly returns to Italy whenever he can spare time from his OU Environmental Science degree course. As with most Italians, he is passionate about good food and its production: his family ran the best grocery shop in Wigtownshire for 30 years, and are sorely missed in Newton Stewart to this day.
